The Reunion
Okay fine. Yes I admit it! I really love watching filipino movies, I don’t care if it’s corny, jologs or whatever but I still do watch them, I even look and search for torrents just to watch every new pinoy movie. I love romance, I love drama but I super love comedy, no one can beat pinoy humor! and of course, barkada movies because whenever I watch barkada movies, I feel young. The recent filipino movie that I watched was The Reunion. Am I that late? And I liked it! (I rarely watch pinoy horror because you know..)
The movie revolves around four young men who are friends since high school. Several years later, they decided to meet once again. They have come to know that each other has a feeling of not moving on with their lives because of a mistake they did way back high school. Now, they are in the journey of finding the true meaning of love and happiness as they reunite once again. Will they discover the true meaning of love and happiness as they reunite again?
It’s not a super well made movie but I liked the story, I liked the message of the film, it’s about love, hope and friendship. I love the four main characters, they have different stories and characteristics that for sure you can relate with. Yun lang predictable medyo yung ending. But over all for me it’s good. Enjoyed it!

My Amazing Spidey!
Watched The Amazing Spiderman last Thursday with William, Raiza and Rinna! And it was really really amahhh-zing!!
We watched at Vmax, it was a bit like iMax but smaller. It was great! I really love the 3D, the effects, everything!
My forever favorite superhero, Spiderman!
And luckily, we were seated in the middle, as in middle! Good spot! The best!

What can I say about the movie? (Bias to)
The movie was really good, although of course I still like the original because I love Tobey Maguire but Andrew Garfield wasn’t too bad at all, I think he did a great job plus his hot. I got teary in some scenes. (I was thinking of saying which scene I got teary pero baka ma-spoil, haha! So wag na!) but I was a bit confused with the story, basta go figure! As I said, I liked the effects and its really cool, I like everything in short!
Movies: I must see!

Magic Mike, I saw the trailer of this one when we watched The Snow White and the Huntsman. The moment I saw that it was Channing Tatum.. I said.. Okay I’ll watch this! And he’s with Alex Pettyfer! Winner!! (July 26, Sydney)
Taken 2, I saw the first movie long time ago and i absolutely love it! I don’t really watch action movies but this one is a good one and I like the story and I would love to see it on the big screen. (October 4, Sydney)

Captain America VS Spiderman
I’ve been hooked up on buying iphone covers every payday. I don’t know why? The latest one that I bought is this Captain America cover
I’m torn between Spiderman and Captain America, but in the end I bought Captain America.
and now I still want one more!
Which one? Captain America again or Spiderman? I’m planning to buy one again.
If I didn’t mention, Captain America and Spiderman are the two of my favorite superheroes.
I love Spiderman because I really love the story of him, what happen to his family, how did he get the superpowers and what abilities he can do. I’ve seen the movie from Spiderman 1-3 for maybe a hundred times already. I’ve seen Spiderman 3 with Paul for a couple of times at the movies before so it is such a memorable movie as well. We both love Spidey!
While Captain America, I don’t really like his superpowers actually he don’t really have any. As I have mentioned on my previous post, I find his ability as walang kwenta, only his intellegence, strong body and shield. But since I love the actor so much and he was being somewhat bullied in the story because he is too short and skinny when he joined the army thing before but still he’s doing his best and thats why I liked him.
Who is your favorite Avenger?
PS. One reason why I love the iphone is because of the cover! Probably will not get the iphone5 if ever it’ll comes out this year. Since my plan is nearly finish, I’d probably get the iphone4S first. (Sayang ang covers ko)
The Avengers
Okay, I’ve been waiting for this movie ever since I heard of it and saw the trailer. I was thinking I’m going to watch it alone. Lucky my cousins are here for vacation.
We watched the movie last thursday in 3D and its a first for my two cousins. I once watched in 3D, I think its Toy Story 3.
Unfortunately, we had to wait for another hour because yes I am late. Sorry! :P
There is this card game that we are addicted to, its called “cheat”. So while we are waiting, we decided just to play. And.. Take photos.

Maybe I’m not the only, but yes! I did love the movie! Super like! Lucky I saw Thor when I was in Phils. because Paul forced me to watch it. I think you’ll understand the movie more if you saw the Thor first. Honestly, I haven’t seen Iron Man, I think maybe just a bit in the television when it was played here last year. So I don’t really have that much idea about his character and also with The Hulk, so after the movie I asked my cousin a bit about Hulk. I really did enjoy! Its worth the money!
Who is my favorite?
Of course! Captain America! Although I find his ability “walang kwenta”, Gwapo eh! Bakit ba? Chos! Plus I really love the actor when he was still in Fantastic 4.

Battle Royale VS The Hunger Games
I hate to say this but I didn’t like both of the movies. They said that Battle Royale and The Hunger Games have nearly the same story which is actually true.
I watched Battle Royale last sunday with my cousins, not even half of the movie I fell asleep, I don’t know if I’m just tired or something but I don’t usually fall asleep while watching movies unless I’m really really sleepy. So I re-watched it with my mom and aunt and I fell asleep again near the end. Hmmm Battle Royale is a bit morbid than The Hunger Games and I don’t like the idea of using kids as the main characters in the movie, they are in school uniform holding guns. knives, grenades and etc. WTH! I think in that part The Hunger Games is better.
As I said, I read the book before I watched the movie which is really a bad idea. I think the movie lacks information and details from the book but I understand, of course how will they fit in the whole book in the movie, but I think if I didn’t read the book then watched the film I think I’ll get confused. (Feeling ko lang naman!) Plus I hate the Hemsworth guy who played Gale. Wala lang..
In short, I hate morbid movies thats why I didn’t like the Battle Royale and I have read the book first that’s why I also didn’t like The Hunger Games film. #napakanega

THIS IS OUR YOUTH!
I’ve been seeing this poster near my workplace. At first I thought its a movie of Michael Cera coming soon, but I saw at the bottom part of the poster there’s the logo of the Sydney Opera House then I thought maybe its a play.
Then I checked out the Sydney Opera’s site. And YES!! It is a play! Myghad!!! That’s MICHAEL CERA! What to do? What to do?
The play would be on March 14-25. Its nearly coming and the ticket is so expensive! I didn’t see this coming. I need to save money NOW!

Saw this on my Facebook homepage and I was like “really? Despicable Me 2?!”. This is one of my favorite animated film. This film really made me laugh the whole time!
Then I let my youngest sister (11 years old) watch the trailer. We murdered the replay button after! Haha I think we watched it 20 plus times, trying to memorize the song while laughing!
I will surely watch this! (BANANA BA NANA POTATO NAAA!!!)
