DIY: Tim Tam Cheesecake

So yesterday my sister and I got bored, and since I’m crying out for a cheesecake (charot nung crying out!) my sister and I decided to make one with my favorite and awesome biscuit, TimTam.

Here are the simple steps on how to make it.

(My sister really did all the mixing, pouring and all. I just watched her and took these photos, sobrang laki ng contribution ko diba? Waley! And yes, those are my hands)

Heypi Mother’s Dey

The original plan last Sunday was to eat at this newly opened Filipino Restaurant. It’s a bit far from where we live so we decided to celebrate/ eat at this Japanese Restaurant near our place.

image

It’s my first time to eat here, the food was nice.

image

Ang chubby na lalo ng pesh ko. Ahuhuhu!

image

Raiza and my mum.

image

Rinna.

image

My favorite!! Although bawal talaga sakin ang kumain nito. Sorry, can’t help it!

image

The “Bangus” which my mum had.

image

image

Beef Teriyaki and Chicken Katsudon

image

image

I can’t remember the name of the dish that I had because it’s not quite familiar, it’s my ever first time to try the food. It’s a chicken with a sweet and something sour on top. (or tartar sauce?) Di ko ma-explain. Basta ang sarap!

image

Isn’t obvious that we are all hungry and all the food that we had are was really good?

And because Raiza, my younger sister, loves froyo so much we passed by at Yogurberry before heading home.

image

I’m not of fan of yogurt so I focused more on the toppings. :P

image

image

Left side: Blueberry and strawberry froyo with healthy toppings.
Right side: Vanilla and strawberry froyo with unhealthy toppings.

image

My mom enjoying her own froyo na overloaded with toppings.

MQA

If you’ve been a long time follower of my blog, probably you know that I always transfer schools that’s why I have different group of friends.

I studied in MQA for two years. (3rd and 4th year) That’s where I met Paul! <3 Go figure na lang saan at ano yung “MQA” haha!

Most of my MQA friends are late comers. As in late ng one hour o kaya di lang. That’s why if the call time is 4pm expect them to be there at 6 or probably 7pm pa. Our call time that day was 4pm, I was expecting them to come early because they told me that I shouldn’t be late, ayaw daw nila maghintay. But because mabagal talaga ako at lalo na yung chicks kong boyfriend, Paul and I showed up 30 mins later at kami pa din yung unang dumating. Kamusta naman? We waited for Robert and Joseph at McDonald’s Commonwealth so we could come altogether at our adviser’s place in COA because I don’t know how to get there.

PART 1

image

Paul and Joseph.

image

image

With my closest boy buddy, Robert aka “Bersh”

image

<3

image

And our adviser.

image

image

Ms. Janine, cooked for us!!

Ihaw boy.

And we all had dinner there.

Finally, Mario arrived! Ang pinaka late comer sa lahat ng late comer!

With her girlfriend, MJ.

Few of our classmates couldn’t come because of lame reasons. Mga papilit ever!

We had few drinks, kwentuhan and tawanan. Kawawa naman yung mga di pumunta dahil sila yung naging topic namin the whole time. Haha :p

PART 2

As the people who didn’t showed up the last time promised we’ll have another get together. At sumipot nga sila and that day Paul and I were late because we have to meet my bestfriend Jonna first. I think we are two hours late? Pero keri lang, makaganti lang din sa mga di sumipot last time. “Evil Laugh

The Girls: Jennifer, Ravonni, Ms.Janine and her daughter Lois, Geraldine and Joan.

I don’t really know what happened before we got there, malamang wala kami? Baliw na.. Haha!

Paul and another close friend of mine, Patsoy!

Bershie

The boyzzz. Sobrang kulang pa din kami! RJ and Melvin was MIA. Mga busy busyhan ang peg. Echusero! Well, next time! It’s fun hanging out with these pips. Laughtrip lang talaga. :)

The Super Meet Up!

Once upon a time, I saw this beautiful woman (like me) here on tumblr, I back read her posts and thought that the name of her boyfriend is “Paul” like my Paul, I was very happy with my thought and so I asked her, but unfortunately I’m wrong the name is “John”. FAIL!! (Brother pala ni John yun) But with that ” Fail thought” our friendship online began, and started to be online bestfriends. <3

And last January (first saturday) I finally met her in person and I was late at nakakahiya lang. :| Anyway, we had our first meet up at TGI.Friday’s Trinoma. At first, I don’t know what to say to her because I haven’t talked to her really but I felt comfortable right away with her so kwentuhan galore na!

image

image

image

Jona and Rav

image

and I brought Paul with me, he is so interested to meet Jona as well because I always tell him things about Jona.

Yeah we all know that TGI.Friday’s is a bit pricey, but who cares! Haha look at the serving.

image

image

Jona and I had pastas.

image

and Paul had this huge chicken.

image

SOLVE!

The first meet up was really great!! Too bad bitin and we have to leave soon.

Our second meet up ay naganap sa Maginhawa! Heehee! I’m always intrigued about Maginhawa, masarap daw mag foodtrip dun so go na dun!

image

Jona, took a half day at her work for me. (Thanks babe!) and we ate our late lunch at Crazy Katsu.

image

Pork Katsudon

image

Chicken Katsudon

image

Seafood and Vegetable Tempura. Their price ranges at 140-150, not too bad.

image

After the Crazy Katsu, we are supposed to have dessert at Icecreamist but too bad, too many people and the place is too small and can’t accompany us. Well.. Next time!

image

So we decided to find a place where we could chill and with free wifi so Paul could play his online game while Jona and I make chismis.

Forte Coffee House is a nice place to chill if you want a quiet ambiance at kami lang ata maingay dun.

image

I never like coffee but this is really good, Chocnut Latte yum!

image

And Paul had a coffee Jelly.

I think we stayed there for like 3 hours? After that we went straight to Eastwood and meet up John, Jona’s man. (Nice meeting you two!!)

image

Grabe! This is one of the best gala and foodtrip ever which I’ll never forget!

Maybe you are thinking who gave me the superhero shirts that I posted before on instagram and facebook. And yes, that’s her!

image

This is the best gift that I got! THANK YOU!!

Now I could say you that we are now bestfriends, tanggalin na yung online na yan.. and live happily ever after, charaught!! <3

I booked the hotel for our last night in Singapore. I know I’m a bit stupid because I booked a hotel instead of staying in my aunt’s place to save money, but I don’t know.. Haha! Waley ng reason.

Sanwiye Korean Cafe

Bet this place looks familiar? I blogged this place I think two months ago. I have no plan of going back here really because I don’t enjoy nature stuff that much but since my friend is here and I’m a good friend, I accompanied him here in Blue Mountains again.

My friend, Sylvester brought his japanese friend Yumi with him here in Sydney. Sylvester lives in Darwin which is in another state of Australia and his friend Yumi lives in New Zealand and Blue Mountains is one of the tourist attraction here so of course they wanted to see it.

If you’ll remember we rode the big cable car here before so we didn’t go inside and just waited for Yumi and Sylvester outside and have a bit of a snack.

My very beautiful mom. (Sabi ko payat siya dito tignan. Tuwang tuwa naman siya. Echos)

My youngest sister.

And yours truly..

It’s so cold that day but who cares, I want to wear skirt and vans.

After they tried the cable car, we decided to eat because we are all hungry.

Passed by this antique shop, I don’t know but there’s something with Antique shops that attracts me. I don’t know.. Haha labo! Looks creepy though.

This korean cafe looks very cosy inside and out so we decided to get in and have our super late lunch here.

The youngsters.. Ravonni, Rinna, Yumi and Sylvester.

My favorite korean food, the sea food pajeon.

Chicken Bulgogi which I had.

Chicken Salad.

Spicy noodles.

And this free chocolate wafer.

I didn’t really enjoyed the food because it doesn’t taste anything, matabang in short. I only liked the salad and the free wafer. It was a long ride home about 3hrs and we all slept in the car except for mom, the driver.

I don’t know why I posted this? Haha LABO LANG!

Ang pagbibinata ni Ravonni!

Turned 21 yesterday, but still I look like 15 years old. Char! Birthday ko (kahapon) pag bigyan niyo na.

I took a day off yesterday and today. My sisters and I planned to eat lunch out to celebrate, a week ago my sister, Raiza and I are looking for a good resto and the one we haven’t been in. But.. We ended up eating at the same resto, Seoul-Ria Sydney which is a korean resto.

I’m broke because I just bought my ticket going to Phils. So this place serves nice and tasty food and it’s affordable.

Let’s start it with the side dishes. I love their side dishes and it’s unlimited!

Me and my sister, Rinna had a Chicken Katsu! Korean resto pero they serve Jap foods. Oh diba! I’m not a fan of Katsu because I like maki and sushi’s if its a Jap food. But this one is good. The serving is quite a lot so it’s really worth!

Raiza had Teriyaki Fish. I tasted it a bit, nice!

And we had some Sea food Pa-jeon. One of the best korean food ever!! One of my favorite!

The three sisters with chopsticks on!

Ravonni

Rinna

And Raiza

After that we went to the shops and I helped my sister to find a dress for her formal and we went to MAC and bought some make ups and stayed at Starbucks to kill the time. I know. I don’t have much photos. Huhu! But yesterday was fun, its so good hanging out with my sisters! I love them! Too bad mom was not with us, I miss you mom! Pa-cake ka pag balik mo!

THANK YOU BELOVED FRIENDS FOR THE GREETINGS!! I LOVE YOU GUYS! :)

PS. Will post the stuffs we bought soon!

Malaysian Festival

My sister, Raiza. Asked the whole family to go to this Malaysian Festival yesterday.

While we are on the train. (Rinna, yours truly, mom and Michael)

It’s hard to bring a car to the city because it’s really hard to park so we usually go by train. And.. Maybe you’re asking, we call it city because that is where the big buildings and shops are. And yes, we live in the suburbs.

Before going to the festival, we stopped by my favorite Milk tea place here in Sydney, Happy Lemon.

My sister, Raiza.

I had my favorite Green Tea with Rock Salt and Cheese and my sister had the same but it has Cocoa. My mom had my second favorite, Milk Tea with Oreo Cookies and Cream and my youngest sister had a strawberry something.

The view of the stalls at the festival.

I love to see paintings, I don’t know how to paint so I admire colorful and abstract paintings.

It’s so hot that day that I wanna go home! Napaka KJ eh noh?

See the “ALL PORK FREE”? What do you guys mean by that? The pork is for free or you don’t put pork on the food. Haha!

Yes, okay. We just ate there.

We had some roti. Mine is an egg roti, its like a pita bread with an egg inside. and they have some curry sauce and sweet & spicy sauce to put on it. My mom, Michael and Rinna had the same but with beef inside.

and Raiza had this. It is wrapped with a banana leaf. its a rice with dried fish and egg on top. Very nice!

After eating, I said I wanna go to the shopping center because its too hot for us to stay outside (ang arte ko lang) we went to the Apple Store, I’m curious and want to see how does the iphone5 looks like and its good. But I have to stick my 4s so no iphone5 for me.

Then for dinner since my mom and Michael will be away on my birthday because they are going to Thailand, I shout for advance birthday dinner for them in thai resto and went home straight after. :)

Foodtrip: Coco Noir

Totally forgot to blog about my sweet foodtrip last month. I just browsed my camera roll earlier and found these photos.

My friend and I tried this cafe near Zara because whenever we go to Zara the place is always full so we got curious and wanna try.

The cakes looks yummy and sinful.

They also have cupcakes and chocolate bars.

More cakes, more sweets..

What did I have? Tiramisu!! My friend only had a coffee.

I don’t really eat much but when it comes to sweets, I can’t resist. The cake and the coffee is a bit expensive. But it’s worth the try! :)
