Gala Trip: Blue Mountains - Scenic World X Katoomba Falls Park

As I promised, this would be my last post for my Blue Mountain trip last month. Our last stop was the Scenic World.

I think Scenic World made it to the Guinness World Records for having the steepest railway. But unfortunately we didn’t able to try that because it’s so cold plus it’s expensive.

My mom, my stepfather and sisters went here before so they tried this already, I’m really not interested on going here. I even said that it doesn’t matter if I’ll not be able to try riding the Skyway because I know that I will only see trees, mountains and etc.

But still my mom insisted, okay fine..

Okay yes, I find it cool especially the glass floor, wala lang!

But still all I can see are trees, the mountains and the stupid three rocks

If you’re asking, Skyway is a big cable car where a lot of people could fit inside, and for you to see a further view of the awesome nature of Australia.

And it will travel across the other side of the valley, valley ba tawag dun? Basta yun!

We can get out of the cable car and walk a bit further, I find these bushes interesting.

And further more.. you’ll find a Falls!! I love Falls, I always wanted to see one. I mean to take a closer look.

The sound of the running water was so relaxing! I wish I could dip onto it!

And my forever favorite chucks! I promise to myself, that one day I’ll jump and swim on a Falls, like the ones you can see in the movies!! :)

So probably that’s my Blue Mountains gala trip!

PS. I wonder why I’m always absent whenever my family goes out of town, I think this is the only trip I had with them for a long time. Where am I? Hahaha anyway, hope I’ll have more trips to come so I can share it with you guys :)

Yay or Nay: Fifty Shades Trilogy

A new portion of my blog.. The “Yay or Nay” I can’t think of a good title, I’m thinking of “RAView”, “Rav Reads” or simply “Book Review” but nah, doesn’t sound good for me. This new “Yay and Nay” would be a portion where I’ll do my reviews for books, make ups, clothes, products and etc. (All in one for short)

Anyway, so let’s jump to my review for the Fifty Shades Trilogy which I read for like a month.

Of course, the one and only reason why I read this book is because of curiosity. I didn’t know that I’d get hooked with the book. Honestly, at first I thought I won’t like this book, my sister’s boyfriend William which is a bookworm like me said that it’s a Twilight fan fiction, so the moment I started it I keep on comparing if it’s the same with Twilight, I guess at some point it is, because why does Christian Grey fell in love with Anastasia Steele and why not with anyone else like Edward Cullen to Bella Swan. Yes, I read Twilight, only the first book and after that I didn’t bother to read because they all made it into a movie anyway. But for me, Bella Swan is different from Anastasia and Christian Grey is far more better than Edward Cullen. (I guess?)

I honestly like Christian Grey’s character, I wish I could have a handsome, rich and overprotective boyfriend like him, I don’t have to worry about anything if he’ll be my boyfriend while with Anastasia Steele I don’t really have anything against her, she’s smart and she’s not the type of woman who’ll just say yes and will agree with whatever the boyfriend will ask, she still makes her own decisions.

The only thing that I don’t like is.. it’s so so so erotic! (Well its erotic romance book, what do you expect Ravonni?) plus I really can’t imagine teens are reading this sort of book, I’m 20 and I still think it’s not appropriate for my age. While reading the erotic parts, I feel like I’m watching a Hostel/Saw type of movie, in Hostel every after scene there is the killing while in Fifty Shades every after 3-4 pages there’s “the act” again. So for me, it’s really not for teenagers. Parental Guidance is recommended!

My favorite among the three would be Fifty Shades Darker, I think the real story is in this book. The two other books are okay, I really like the book, how the story and the details were constructed, how the characters were described and how detailed “the acts” they made in the books.

Fifty Shades of Grey: 3 out of 5
Fifty Shades Darker: 4 out of 5
Fifty Shades Freed: 3.5 out of 5 

So for me it’s a YAY!

Gala Trip: Blue Mountains - Antique Centre

Gala trip is back! Promise, this will be the second to the last post about my trip, last month? I already forgot when did we have this trip.

Yun nga! If you read my older posts about my trip, I did just rant about the nature thing, not a nature lover here! So maybe you can guess now which type or kind of a tourist I am. Yes, I’m a shopper (wait, considered as tourist ba yung shopper? Labo!) and I want adventure type of trip, I wan’t rides, zip lines, yung mga tipong tatalon ng building ganun!

This is the only place that I really enjoyed among the rest. I find it really interesting going to Antique Shops, I feel like I’m going back to the past.

Yehey! Finally got my first ever matinong headphones. (What’s the difference between headphones and headset? Or they are the same?) I always wanted to have Beats, but Beats are too mainstream and there are a lot of fake ones so I don’t like it anymore.

The first time I saw Urbanears was last month in one of the dept.store here in Sydney and I would always say, “I’m gonna buy that next pay”. I think this is my second pay since the day I said that. 

So yeah, I got this last Friday and I was having a hard time on which color to get, I was thinking of getting Pumpkin or Mustard color but I ended up getting the Grape flavour este color because purple is one my favorite color. 

It comes in a small package. Love how you can fold it!

Does it make sense?

Okay, enough posts on my trip for now. 

When I opened my Facebook account last night I saw this photo and caught my attention.

At first, I didn’t know what it is all about, I thought it’s just three people dining together, then I look closely then I realize it was about how the organs will look like if you are a drinker, smoker and a healthy eater. Honestly, I’m a drinker but I’m a vegetarian, I thought that I’m still healthier with those people who drinks and does eat meat but when I saw this photo it made me realize that maybe no matter how I eat healthy my insides would be still like the one on the middle if I continue to drink, and last month I started to try smoking, so where’s the healthy veggies and fruits that I’m eating will go? I’m always paranoid of getting sick so I eat healthy and exercise regularly and I would always lecture Paul about cigarettes that he should stop smoking because I don’t want him and me to get sick but he would always answer, “Pag oras mo na oras mo na!”. It’s true in a way but I just want to give a message through this photo to all the people (especially the teenagers) to take good care of their body and health. Yes, enjoy life because life is short but know the limit.

Remember: Health is wealth!

Gala Trip: Blue Mountains - National Park

It’s our second day of our trip and still another nature’s view. As usual, I didn’t really appreciated it that much.

We went to Blue Mountains National Park.

By the time when we were there it’s really windy and freezing and I couldn’t take it that I ask them if we could get out of there quickly haha #KJ

Although I’m not a nature lover, I find it really lovely because at least here in Australia they able to maintain the mountains and trees. :)

Gala Trip: Blue Mountains - Three Sisters

Our first stop was the famous Three Sisters.

Honestly, I don’t know what’s special with these three rocks.

Yup, that’s it! That’s the “Sisters”

There’s nothing much there, just the three big rocks and these mountains.

It is really famous in Australia. I’m not a super nature lover that’s why maybe I didn’t really appreciated it that much. But you are a tourist, you’ll be able to appreciate this.

To take a closer look of the rocks, we walked for maybe 10 minutes to get there.

I’m freezing while we were walking, I’m wearing 3 clothes inside, scarf and a pair of boots, but still I feel so cold.

We need to take these stairs. Long stairs!

There’s no problem of taking the stairs if you are going down, imagine if you are going up? Mygad! Na-exercise ako ng wala sa oras.

And then I will only see this? I think this is one of the rocks.

Short story: While we were taking a rest near the stairs (dahil ang mommy ko napagod) we saw this three group of friends, I think they are Europeans, a boy and two girls, they are actually going up and looks so tired, my mom asked them if what can you see further down there, and they answered nothing and blah blah. (Pinapahaba ko pa yung kwento) Well anyway, the guy is promise!! Super handsome! I appreciated his face more than the view hahaha! Waley! 

Gala Trip: Blue Mountains - Guest House

Last Saturday, my family went to a trip to Jerusalem, joke! Trip to Blue Mountains.

Blue Mountains is somewhat like our “Baguio” here in Sydney. If it’s cold here in Sydney its colder and freezing more in Blue Mountains.

It’s actually my first time here. My mom, stepdad and my sisters have been here before. Anyway, we stayed in this old guest house. I love how the place is maintained.

My sisters and I had a separate room from our mom and stepdad.

There is this room in the guest house where you can chill and read books or watch dvd.

Chos lang kunyari nag babasa. 

Not much photos for the guest house because we only stayed there just to sleep. More photos coming soon. Patikim pa lang yan. :)

Hello August!

Sorry for my late monthly hello! It’s August 3 already! (Wow! Ang bilis lang ah!)

Higlights last July:

  • Last month was really a hectic month for me because of my work.
  • I started reading Fifty shades of Grey last week and I’m nearly finish.
  • I finished the book called “A million little pieces” it was a quite good book for me, but the reviews says it is not.
  • I have decided to get another tattoo soon.
  • I started watching Lie to me. As you all know I’m a korean drama addict and most of my friends have been asking me if I’ve already seen that and then I got curious, I bought a dvd copy of that long time ago but I’m just lazy to watch. I’m currently in episode 3.
  • Ditched my iphone 4 and got a 4s.
  • Purchased Maroon 5 ticket! Yay!

Oh well! My July was focused with my work and going back to my old lifestyle which is reading a lot of books.

Wants and expectation this coming August:

I would not say that I want a rest this month because.. I need to work work work and save save save because.. I’ll be booking my ticket soon!! Yes! I’ll be visiting my favorite place on earth, Philippines really soon and I need to save money for my studies as well.

Paul and I started to play this online game the other day and we are really having fun, we are really like a barkada. I’m happy that Paul and I don’t get into much fights now, but anyway, I’m always happy with him. :)

Last month was really not that stressful for me, it’s just busy but I think I’m doing good, so I’m hoping this month to be the same.

Nothing much for August. Have a good August everyone!!

By the way my younger sister will be celebrating her birthday on the 30th and I don’t know where to take her or what to give her hmmm.
